Solomon Lindenberg is a pianist, composer and educator from Door County, WI and is currently based in Chicago, IL. He can be seen and heard playing in groups that he leads around the city, as well as with a range of other musicians as a sideman. While mainly a jazz player, he is also largely influenced by classical, gospel, folk, and R&B music, and incorporates all of these elements into his playing.
Solomon is part of a collective trio with Charlie O’Neill (drums) and Arlo Wohlgenant (bass) that plays jazz standards, folk songs, and original music while focusing on improvisation, group interaction and musical communication. The group plays a vast repertoire of music, both popular and obscure, and performs with a dynamic level of intensity and virtuosity.
