Founded in 2021 by Marcos and Jose, Piraguas y Piropos addresses the lack of musical representation of Jibaro Music in Chicago. This genre, deeply rooted in Puerto Rican folkloric tradition, combines the sophisticated harmonies of classical music with the vibrant rhythms of the Caribbean, appealing to a broad audience with its danceable qualities.
