Oliver Scott is a multifaceted jazz pianist, composer, and arranger based out of Chicago Illinois. His experiences as a classical pianist and music director inspire the music he creates, as well as his love for popular modern songs, and melodies from his childhood. Leader of the Oliver Scott Quartet and co-leader of Trio Dashes, he has quickly made an impression on the Chicago jazz scene since moving in 2023. Known for his creativity, technical ability, and warm sound, he brings something new to every performance. Oliver recently held the position of jazz teaching artist at James Madison University during the 2022-23 school year. He currently teaches at Northside Music Academy in Chicago and performs regularly.
