Oliver is a multifaceted pianist, composer, and arranger based out of Chicago Illinois. Leader of the Oliver Scott Quartet and co-leader of Trio Dashes, he has quickly made an impression on the Chicago jazz scene since moving in 2023. Beginning as a classical pianist at an early age, Oliver brings a wealth of experiences into the music he creates. Known for his creativity, technical ability, and warm sound, his performances build upon the rich tradition of jazz. Oliver recently held the position of jazz teaching artist at James Madison University during the 2022-23 school year.
