Jeff Manuel grew up in the Detroit area, graduated in classical piano performance from Western Michigan University in 1976.  Moved to Chicago that year and have lived in Chicago ever since. 

          His musical tastes go from classical (Chopin, Bach, Debussey, etc) to jazz and standards, along with the music of classic FM Rock and popular music from the 60's, 70's, 80's and nineties. He has played solo piano, in blues bands, and with various instrumental groups all over Chicago. He was a house pianist at the University Club for years, as well as the Drake Hotel Chicago and the Ritz Carlton Chicago. In appreciative audiences have been Buckiminster Fuller, JFK Jr, John Entwhistle, etc.  Jeff still performs the music I love at neighborhood joints and at society soiree
