Alex Kelsh & Intangible Truth is a Chicago-based band led by Alex Kelsh (saxophone) with Oliver Scott (piano), Nat Lin (bass) and Colin Dorion (drums). The band played their first show in July 2024. Alex Kelsh & Intangible Truth’s music focuses on solid arrangements of great melodies from American music, inspired by the sounds of hard bop and soul jazz. The name “Intangible Truth” refers to the various indisputable and non-negotiable characteristic elements that make jazz and other Black-American styles of music so exhilarating and remarkable.
